A very interesting interview! I was probably not at my best in this interview, considering that I was concentrating mostly on the personal experiences Dr. Childers had with low-carb diet.
I was thinking I had already covered most of the topics I planned to talk about, and was trying to think of other things to talk about only about 15 minutes into the chat. Then Dr. Childers told me that she wanted to talk about the results she was having with her patients with low-carb.
DOH!
After that, things got even more interesting, as I managed to more-or-less get out of my own way and let Dr. Childers talk about things for which she has the most passion. Among other things, she talked about how low-carb greatly increased the effectiveness of other treatments and medications — and in some cases, replaced other treatments.
One could almost draw the conclusion that schizophrenia is not a Thorazine deficiency! Who knew?
